Tableau (8 columns of 6 cards each) Build in descending sequence and in suit (for example, a 4 on a 5 ). Ranks are not continuous: a King can't be played on an Ace. The top card of each column can be played on the foundations, on another tableau column or on the reserve. A sequence can be played, either in whole or in part, on another tableau column, as long as the number of spaces, in the tableau and in the reserve, is such that all the cards of the sequence could be played one at a time.
